How do I add an event to CDN's Event calendar?

We use a platform called CitySpark to manage our Events calendar. You can add your events for free!

To add an event to CitySpark, you can:
  1. Go to https://www.cascadiadaily.com/calendar/#/ and click the red Add Event button under the featured events on the right side of the the screen. 

    On desktop, look for the red button with a + labeled Add Event.

    On mobile, the button is just a red icon with the + symbol.

  2. Create a CitySpark account or log in with Google or Facebook.
  3. Fill in the event details, including:
    • Name
    • Location
    • Date and time
    • Categories
    • Image
    • Description
    • Ticket and contact info
  4. Proof your event listing
  5. Select a promotion level if you want
  6. Select Submit Event
Here are some things to keep in mind when adding an event to CitySpark:
  • Event submissions are free.
  • Events and edits need to be approved by the calendar's editorial team before they appear on the published calendar. This can take up to 24-hours.
  • You can add additional dates for an event by selecting Add Another Date in the Date and Time section.
  • You can upload one image per listing, or choose from free stock images provided by CitySpark.
  • You can include up to three videos by providing the URL for each video in the Embedded Video section.
  • You can provide your own ticket link or use the platform to create and manage tickets.
  • You can manage your submitted events, including removal, edits, promotion, and status updates at https://hub.cityspark.com/
