Can I purchase a photo on the website?

How to select the photo? - Find the associated article and click the "Buy Photo" button near the photo caption. A purchase screen will pop up on the right side of the device.

Why is there no "Buy Photo" button available? - Cascadia Daily News allows select photos to be purchased through our website. Please click here to see our article on the criteria.

How long until I receive my print/canvas? - The site we use for photo sale can take up to 2 weeks from the order date for the product to arrive.

Where is my purchased download? - We appreciate your purchase! Cascadia Daily News would first need to find the largest, highest-quality version of the image, which can take 3-5 business days to process, especially photos published some time ago.

I need a refund. - We do not accept refunds for damaged or missing products and for orders that haven't been fully processed. To receive a refund please forward the order confirmation email you received from Fotomoto at the time of purchase to shop@cascadiadaily.com. Someone from our team will email Fotomoto support to process the refund within 24 hours.

Can I use a photo for commercial use? - Our standard for photo purchases is "personal use only, not for republication". However, we are open to hearing ideas for limited commercial use of Cascadia Daily News images. Please email our Managing Editor-Visual/Design, Jaya Flanary, directly at jayaflanary@cascadiadaily.com with the subject line, "Photo permission request" and you will hear back within 24 hours.
